DISTILLED 20th January 2014 AND BOTTLED 16th April 2025
The cask yielded only 236 bottles and it was bottled at natural cask strength 57.3%
A fruity, floral and honeyed distillate. Originally matured in a hogshead and finished for over six years in a first fill ex-Amontillado sherry cask sourced from Josafer cooperage.
One of our favourite Speyside distilleries to work with over the years due to its huge versatility and compatibility to mature well in many different types of cask. Long fermentation and worm tub condensation contribute to its incredibly fruity output. Here we have a very long 6 year finish in a fresh Amontillado cask resulting in a wonderfully chocolaty and spicy whisky.
The taste revealed - stewed strawberries, nutmeg and chocolate coffee beans.

The cask yielded only 68 bottles and it was bottled at natural cask strength 55.9%
One of 2 ‘Myosotis’ releases in this outrun and yielding only 68 bottles, here we have a classic ’sherry bomb’! Although flavour profile is dominated by the sherry butt, the distillery character still remains through its orange and marmalade notes, complimented by some spice and herbal characteristics offered by the cask.
The taste revealed - cinnamon, plump raisins and muscovado sugar.

DISTILLED 11th August 2008 AND BOTTLED 13th March 2025
The cask yielded only 53 bottles and it was bottled at natural cask strength 56.2%
‘Myosotis’ release number 2 for this outrun, here we have a Wonderfull alternative to the Glenrothes. Similar in age to the Glenrothes except this time matured in an ex-Oloroso butt made with American oak rather than European oak. The result is a much softer influence from the Oloroso that pairs perfectly with the lighter spirit character of MacDuff.
The taste revealed - battenburg cake, golden syrup and green pear.

The cask yielded only 113 bottles and it was bottled at natural cask strength 44.3%
Founded in 1885 in Edinburgh. This distillate has a heavier character compared to other grain distilleries due to the use of maize in the mash bill. Fully matured in an ex-bourbon barrel for notes of vanilla and spice.
Our local grain distillery located just over the water in Edinburgh produces one of the heaviest grain whiskies on offer. Fully matured in a very well used refill barrel that was also leaking throughout its life has led to a very soft and gentle but mature single grain whisky at a very very approachable natural ABV.
The taste revealed - flat cola, custard cream and dried pineapple.

DISTILLED 11th November 2013 AND BOTTLED 14th March 2025
The cask yielded only 203 bottles and it was bottled at natural cask strength 63.6%
This lightly peated distillate from the Northern Isles is famous for its heather honey character. Fully matured in a first fill bourbon barrel for layers of sweetness and vanilla.
One of only 2 malt whisky distilleries in Orkney helps to narrow down the identity of this mystery malt. Also as the only distillery on the archipelago that produces spirit with a smoky character, helps to narrow down even further. Fully matured in a 1st fill bourbon barrel providing lots of sweetness combined with a huge ABV of 63.6% combines to feel like Haribo Tangfastics whapping around the inside of your mouth, teeth and gums!
The taste revealed - pear tart, lapsing tea and runny honey.

We are very excited to offer the first ever cask we have bottled from this distillery. One of the most northerly distilleries on the mainland in the historic fishing port of Wick, the maritime character of this malt shines through, especially as we resisted the temptation to re-rack the whisky and fully mature it in its original refill barrel. The distillate is a heavy bodied spirit with spicy and fruity notes,
The taste revealed - lemon sherbet, salt and black pepper and liquorice.

- Refill Butt
This exceptional blended scotch whisky is created in our unique and special way by blending malt and grain whiskies from different distilleries and differing spirit styles. Each batch is small, bespoke and distinctly different from the last. Bottled and hand labelled in our own warehouse where you'll be glad to know, no artificial colouring or chill-filtration takes place.
A classic mix of malt and grain whiskies blended together in the traditional style. 3 whiskies make up this blend from 1 now closed grain distillery, one famous Speysider and an unpeated island distillery. In this case we have a selection of whiskies that have been blended when they were young and married back into a refill butt for a very long time. Thankfully we have managed to rescue a cask of this blend and present it in very limited ’single cask’ form.
Tasing notes revealed - marmalade, oak spice, ginger, vanilla and créme Brulée.

- WAREHOUSE SOLERA SYSTEM
This exceptional whisky is created in our unique own special way by blending malt whiskies from different distilleries and differing spirit styles. Each batch is Small, bespoke and distinctively different from the last; blended, married, bottled and hand labelled in our own warehouse where you’ll be glad to know, no artificial colouring of chill-filtration takes place.
From our unique custom built solera system in our warehouse.
Originating in the sherry and port industries, a solera system involves multiple connected barrels. As whisky is drawn from the last barrel the first barrel is topped up. Our Solera is made up of an ex-Fino sherry quarter cask and two ex-Oloroso quarter casks. Whisky flowing through the system will pick up new, deeper, flavours from these casks.
This is the 4rd batch and now we’re seeing the real benefit from time marrying together in the Solera. There in now a rewarding balance of smoke and sherry with any youthful notes now well into the background.
The tasting revealed - coastal spray, crispy bacon, cinnamon stick, fig, marshmallow, ginger, chocolate cherries and lemon peel.

DISTILLED 15th July 2013 AND BOTTLED 3rd February 2025
The cask yielded only 214 bottles and it was bottled at natural cask strength 56.4%
Founded in 1826, known for producing a robust and complex distillate with nutty, malty, floral and fruity notes. Matured in a first fill ex Bourbon barrel for layers of vanilla and oak.
This highly sought after full bodied Speysider is a joy to work with. Following a few great recent releases finished in oloroso and port casks respectively, we have decided to look at this spirit fully matured in a fresh Bourbon barrel as a great alternative. The result is a delightfully sweet and spicy dram that is dangerously easy to drink.
The taste revealed - apple strudel, wood workshop and honey on toast.
