Minimum Age Restrictions
We can only sell alcoholic beverages to customers who are at least 18 years of age. By placing an order with Lady of the Glen you confirm that you meet the Minimum Legal Age for purchasing alcoholic beverages in your country of residence
New Customers
If you are ordering from us for the first time we may only ship to the cardholders address unless you activate cardholder password authentication on your card.
Payment
Orders must be settled in full before shipping. Payment can only be made online through www.ladyoftheglen.com (sorry, we do not accept telephone orders) using VISA, MasterCard, Solo, American Express.
If you wish to pay by bank transfer please contact us for an invoice.
We encourage the use of ‘Verified by Visa’ and ‘MasterCard SecureCode’. This requires the cardholder to provide a personal password or pin number when paying for goods online with their credit card just as they would provide a pin on the high street. Cardholders can sign up to the service with their card provider at no cost and are reassured that their card is protected from fraudulent use on the internet.
Taxes & Duties
Products on Lady of the Glen are subject to United Kingdom taxation. Where we are dispatching goods to countries outside the European Union you will not be charged VAT by Lady of the Glen but you may be subject to local import taxes. These additional charges and responsibilities must be borne by the customer. For further information about customs policies and charges in your country of residence please contact your local customs office.
All website orders are UK duty and VAT paid regardless of where the purchaser resides.
Shipping
All of our parcels include tracking and require a signature upon receipt. This is for age clarification and to confirm delivery.
Please allow 1 working day to pick and pack your order. During busy seasons this can take a little longer.
Orders outside of the UK incur a flat additional fee of £30 to cover the extra transport cost and paperwork.
We offer fixed price domestic and international shipping costs based on size and weight. Subject to stock availability domestic mainland deliveries are shipped using a 48 hour delivery courier service (Monday-Friday). Delivery to a European address normally takes 2-3 days. Delivery to other countries normally takes 4-10 days.
If your order is returned to us due to non-delivery we will give you the option of re-shipping the goods (at your expense) or refunding your order less our shipping fee.
Canada: Please note that due to Customs regulations for the import of alcoholic products to Canada we cannot guarantee delivery or be responsible for items damaged or seized by Customs to that country. For this reason, we ship goods to Canada entirely at the risk of the customer. In practice most consignments get through.
If your parcel is found to be damaged upon delivery please report this to the delivery driver immediately and then to Lady of the Glen.
Please DO NOT REFUSE a parcel. Undelivered items returned to us incur an additional delivery charge from our carrier for which you may be liable.
Returns
Where you have already received the goods, you have the right to cancel within 7 working days starting from the day after receiving the delivery. The goods must be returned to us unopened (sealed) together with the original invoice within 7-days of the agreed cancellation date. On receipt of the return we will refund the purchase in full to your payment card.
The customer must arrange and pay for returning the goods including insurance. Lady of the Glen will not be responsible for loss or damage in transit of the returned goods.
Availability
We strive to keep our stock control up to date and ensure the accuracy of stock content on the web site. Occasionally an item may be out of stock and/or discontinued – in such an eventuality we will inform you promptly, and may suggest an alternative.
