The cask yielded only 307 bottles and it was bottled at natural cask strength 50.4%

Founded in 1840 and known for its fresh and fruity distillate, this ‘Speysider' has matured for over 2 decades in a refill cask before finishing in a fresh Oloroso hogshead.

The cask yielded only 157 bottles and it was bottled at natural cask strength 59.6%

Founded in 2015 on the site of the closed Imperial Distillery. This relatively young distillate was matured in a refill American oak barrel then finished for 6 months in a 1st fill Oloroso quarter cask

The tasting revealed, Yoghurt, Stewed blackcurrants and Marzipan

A full bodied peaty distillate matured in a HHD for over 7 years. Finished in a Xynisteri White and Dry wine Cask from a vineyard found at altitude in Cyprus offering fresh notes of lemon, lime and apple

The tasting revealed, Lemongrass, Smoky bacon and Black pepper oatcake

Founded in 1881 on the Northern Shore of Islay. An unpeated distillate with citrus fruit and honey notes fully matured in first fill Oloroso Sherry Butt

The tasting revealed, Orange Zest, Toasted almonds and Festive spices

The cask yielded only 165 bottles and it was bottled at natural cask strength 57.6%

Located near idyllic Pitlochry and with foundations dating back to 1778. The distillate is medium bodied, sweet and fruity. Matured in a refill hogshead for additional vanilla, sweetness and mellow character.

A robust and complex distillate with nutty, malty, floral and fruity notes. Matured for 9 years in a refill cask for vanilla and mellowness. Reracked into a 1st fill Oloroso cask for intense dried fruit notes

The tasting revealed, Mixed peel, Cinnamon and New leather

The Rythm and Booze Project Bottling No.2

A 28 year old HHD. Distilled at the Isle of Jura distillery.

Tasting notes. 

Nose: Jura’s typical cinnamon bun aroma opens up to persimmons, chai tea, and heaps of caramel.

Palate: An initial hit of bread and butter pudding becomes fruitier, a combination of raspberries and plums, as well as a little more leathery with time. 

Finish: Warming and spicy. This is a whisky that likes a cuddle.
