Loch Lomond (Inchmurrin) 2014 - Refill Oloroso

DISTILLED 6th June 2014 AND BOTTLED 6th April 2026

A light bodied distillate produced at high strength in Loch Lomond's straight neck pot stills. Aged in a first fill bourbon barrel and finished in a refill ex-oloroso cask for layers of dried fruit.

This innovative and quirky distillery also known as the “Willy Wonka Whisky Factory” due to its ability to produce many different spirit styles. Here the Inchmurrin spirit is created in the distillery’s straight neck pot sills allowing for lots of reflux and combined with the high cut points, we have a light and delicate make to manage here. To accomplish this, we offered the spirit a year in a refill oloroso cask to add some subtle fruitiness and chocolatey notes.

The tasting revealed mango fruit punch, cinnamon and chocolate raisins.
