Glencairn glasses are an excellent accompaniment to any Whisky tasting because their bell shape allows for complex Whisky aromas to be trapped in the glass making them ideal for nosing and sipping. They also have the added benefit that if the glass tips over all of the spirit doesn't splash out!

DISTILLED 29th November 2018 AND BOTTLED 29th July 2026

The biggest selling Islay single malt and a spirit that we are delighted to include in a Lady of the Glen outrun once again. A spirit famed for its big, bold, punchy and medicinal style really shows through here due to being bottled at an age and from a cask type where the distillery characteristics can shine.

Tar and creosote initially on the nose before further investigation reveals some notes contributed from the cask of vanilla, coconut and green apples. Dangerously easy to drink at cask strength due to waves of peach, blackcurrant and candied lemon before the distillery character comes though in the form of smoky salted liquorice. The long but dry finish is summed up with notes of cloves, ginger and nutmeg all wrapped in a cigar leaf.
