Glencairn glasses are an excellent accompaniment to any Whisky tasting because their bell shape allows for complex Whisky aromas to be trapped in the glass making them ideal for nosing and sipping. They also have the added benefit that if the glass tips over all of the spirit doesn't splash out!

DISTILLED 19th July 2012 AND BOTTLED 19th October 2022

A peated distillate produced on the north east coast of Islay. Matured in a hogshead for over 7 years and finished in a first fill ex-oloroso sherry cask for the remaining 3 years for dried fruit and spice notes.

Another great example of this wonderful make to work with. A longer than average 3 year finish in a soft sherry cask has really integrated the smoke and fruitiness for a very sophisticated and balanced expression of this distillery.

The tasting revealed barbecued lime, liquorice toffee and cracked black pepper.
