Glencairn glasses are an excellent accompaniment to any Whisky tasting because their bell shape allows for complex Whisky aromas to be trapped in the glass making them ideal for nosing and sipping. They also have the added benefit that if the glass tips over all of the spirit doesn't splash out!

DISTILLED 26th October 2005 AND BOTTLED 18th February 2026

The cask yielded only 203 bottles and it was bottled at natural cask strength 58.1%

Recognised for producing a dry, smoky distillate with floral hints. Port Charlotte is a heavily peated spirit run from Bruichladdich. Matured in a first fill bourbon barrel for layers of sweetness and honey.

A rare find indeed! We’re thrilled to share this very special cask and celebrate one of Islay’s finest. Heavily peated but well matured in a refill cask allowing for a mellower impression of smoke whilst allowing some vanilla and spice through from the cask.

The tasting revealed toasted brioche, BBQ pineapple and light camphor.
