Glencairn glasses are an excellent accompaniment to any Whisky tasting because their bell shape allows for complex Whisky aromas to be trapped in the glass making them ideal for nosing and sipping. They also have the added benefit that if the glass tips over all of the spirit doesn't splash out!

DISTILLED 9th December 2012 AND BOTTLED 31st March 2026

Founded in 1826, known for producing a robust and complex distillate with nutty, malty, floral and fruity notes. Finished for six years in a white & dry Cyprus wine cask for dry, savoury and chamomile notes.

This very popular rich and substantial Speysider and one of Diageo’s “meatier” spirits, has been treated to a generous six full years in an ex-white wine cask from Cyprus. A long finish or secondary maturation has provided an obvious but delicate influence from the dry wine.

The tasting revealed apricot pastry, white flowers and coastal spray.
